- Job Summary : The Senior Lab Incharge is responsible for the smooth functioning of all three science laboratories in accordance with the standards specified by the IB school.
- Responsibility
- Laboratory preparatory work
- Scientific knowledge and understanding and ability to handle lab equipment
- Organize and prepare the labs for class sessions and examinations
- Maintain work area and equipment in the prep lab
- Work with teachers and head of the science departments to plan
- Work with the teachers and follow guidelines while setting and adhering to safety standards
- Maintain, construct and operate equipment




- Carry out tests to verify material supplied Inventory Management
- Create and follow a process oriented approach towards managing all lab requirements
- Identify materials required for all labs and liaise with procurement team
- Maintain a check on stock and prepare purchase orders in time to ensure timely delivery of material
- Liaise with vendors and ensure material purchased is the best quality and approved by the department head
- Check material for expiry and manage disposal of waste.
