Job Summary: Persistent Systems is looking for a highly experienced Java Lead with 10+ years of experience and strong expertise in Apache Kafka and distributed systems . The candidate will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, event-driven enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end design and development of enterprise applications using Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, and Microservices .
- Architect and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka .
- Define system architecture, integration patterns, and best practices.
- Ensure scalability, performance tuning, and high availability of systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders, architects, DevOps, and product teams.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Mentor and guide development teams.
- Drive technical design discussions and solution proposals.

Required Skills:

- 12+ years of strong hands-on experience in Core Java J2EE .
- Deep expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture .




- Extensive experience with Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Kafka Streams, Connect, Schema Registry) .
- Robust understanding of event-driven architecture distributed systems .
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines .
- Database expertise in SQL NoSQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) .
- Strong leadership, design, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Kafka performance tuning monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of Kafka security (SSL/SASL).
- Experience in large-scale, high-transaction environments.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
