TCS hiring for IBM OMEGAMON System Administrator / Mainframe Performance Monitoring Specialist

Location: Pan India

Experience: 5-15

Must have:

1. Strong hands-on experience in IBM OMEGAMON for z/OS and related OMEGAMON family components used for mainframe infrastructure monitoring.
2. Experience in monitoring and optimizing z/OS system performance, LPAR utilization, CPU, memory, DASD, workload, address space and subsystem performance.
3. Valuable understanding of IBM Z mainframe environments including z/OS, Parallel Sysplex, JES2/JES3, WLM, SMF/RMF, USS, CICS, Db2, IMS and MQ monitoring concepts.
4. Ability to configure, maintain, troubleshoot and tune OMEGAMON agents, workspaces, situations, alerts, thresholds and historical data collection.

Experience with enhanced 3270 UI, OMEGAMON classic interface, Tivoli Enterprise Portal or equivalent monitoring consoles.
6. Ability to analyze performance bottlenecks, looping tasks, high CPU consumers, enqueue contention, storage constraints and workload goal misses.
7. Hands-on experience in incident, problem and change management for mainframe monitoring infrastructure.
8. Ability to create operational reports, dashboards and performance trend analysis for service reviews and SLA tracking.
