Job Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures for senior secondary classes (Grades 11‑12) in Physics and Chemistry.
Design and conduct practical laboratory sessions, ensuring safety protocols and accurate measurement techniques.
Develop and evaluate formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, assignments, and board examinations.
Provide individualized academic support and mentorship to students, fostering critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Collaborate with department heads and fellow faculty members to align curriculum with the latest educational standards and board guidelines.
Participate in co‑curricular activities, workshops, and parent‑teacher meetings.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and laboratory inventory.
Stay updated with advancements in Physics and Chemistry pedagogy through continuous career development.

Essential Qualifications
Master’s degree (M. Sc.)



in Physics or Chemistry from a recognized university.
National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification or equivalent teacher eligibility certification.
Clearance of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) is preferred.
Proficiency in English and the regional medium of instruction.
Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Grades 11‑12).
Demonstrated ability to conduct practical laboratory experiments and manage lab equipment.
Experience with digital teaching tools, virtual labs, and online assessment platforms is an advantage.
Track record of improving student academic performance and fostering a love for science.
