- Masters in Marine Structure or equivalent from reputed university Graduation in Civil Engineering from reputed university
Job Description
- Planning, design and project management of marine, maritime structures and costal projects.
- Develop project work plans, schedule, and submittals by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Read, understand, and plan according to the work specifications and contract responsibilities.
- Anticipate project conflicts, communicate preventative action plans, and implement solutions to avoid issues.
- Create, update, review, and maintain a budget for a project. Generate solutions to stay on time and on budget.
- Use interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with colleagues, peers, internal and external partners, working proactively across organizational boundaries, sharing information, recent knowledge,
innovation and growth ideas
- Excellent design software skills in STADD Pro, AutoCAD (3D CAD beneficial), ETAB (optional)
Desired Profile
- Should have worked in Planning of Port Harbour and costal structures.
- Should have experience in planning of Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
- Should be conversant in Planning of Land Side Infrastructures (like stackyard, buildings, utilities etc.)
- Should be conversant in Marine Codes.
- Should have prepared cost estimates for four Port projects
- Should have worked in minimum four Detailed Project Reports
- Should have worked in minimum four Feasibility Reports
- Should have proven experience in co-ordination liasoning with Govt. clients.
