US Taxation Consultant II Business Process Solutions Accounting

As a Tax Accounting & Reporting consultant, you will support our US teams through the fast-changing landscape of tax legislation, financial processes, and digitalization. Youll be responsible for your portfolio of engagements. You will take care of their financial administration, processing invoices, etc., and assist with any queries relating to their questions about preparing their annual financial statements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Build understanding of the critical importance of reporting through direct work with the US team
- Gain hands-on experience in financial statements and tax reporting, and provide insights through reporting
- Efficiently manage administrative processes and proactively resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity
- Support successful period closures and financial reporting cycles
- Perform in-depth analysis of journals, trial balances, reconciliations, and other financial data
- Grow into a senior role over time, taking on additional responsibilities such as review work
- Strictly adhere to checklists, procedure guides, and workflows, and keep them updated
- Gather operational insights to continually improve internal processes
- Escalate issues to Senior Analyst/Manager in a timely manner
- Support transformation of prior processes to bridge gaps, align with evolving business requirements, and drive efficiencies through automation

Role & responsibilities

- Support U.S. teams in tax accounting and financial reporting processes




- Manage a portfolio of engagements, including financial administration and invoice processing
- Assist in preparation and analysis of financial statements and tax reports
- Perform detailed analysis of journals, trial balance, and reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data by resolving discrepancies proactively
- Participate in period-end closures and reporting activities
- Adhere strictly to defined workflows, checklists, and compliance procedures
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives
- Escalate issues appropriately to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with BDH (Business Data Hub) tool
- Robust project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Required Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting/taxation

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
