We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Administrator with 5+ years of experience in managing and optimizing Snowflake environments. The candidate will be responsible for platform administration, performance tuning, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to Azure Enterprise Landing Zone (ELZ) standards for security, networking, and governance.

Key Skills & Requirements

- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and performance tuning
- Experience in:
- User and role management
- Virtual warehouse configuration and optimization

- Hands-on experience in incident management and service request handling
- Expertise in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous platform improvement
- Experience in dashboard setup and performance monitoring
- Knowledge of Snowflake integration with Azure Enterprise Landing Zone (ELZ)
- Familiarity with Azure security, networking, and governance standards
- Monitoring experience using:

- Snowflake Console
- Azure Monitor

- Understanding of data pipelines and DevOps processes
- Experience in executing runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Roles & Responsibilities





- Administer and maintain Snowflake environments ensuring high availability and performance
- Perform performance tuning and query optimization for Snowflake workloads
- Manage users, roles, and access controls in alignment with security policies
- Configure and optimize virtual warehouses for cost and performance efficiency
- Monitor platform health using Snowflake Console and Azure Monitor
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management effectively
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
- Support data pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Ensure compliance with Azure ELZ security, networking, and governance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities
- Execute runbooks and SOPs for operational consistency
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts
