Role Purpose
The Business HR role partners with the Sales organization to enable business performance by ensuring the availability of the right talent, strengthening employee capability, driving engagement, and delivering effective people processes across a geographically distributed workforce.
The role will lead HR initiatives across employee lifecycle management, workforce planning, employee relations, capability building, performance management, and execution of HR policies and programs across locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment, Onboarding & Induction
- Drive manpower planning and recruitment for management and staff positions in line with approved workforce plans.
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities including documentation, joining formalities, induction, and employee integration.
- Ensure smooth employee transition and positive onboarding experience.
1. Learning & Development
- Support L&D; initiatives by preparing and executing training calendars aligned to business needs.
- Coordinate with Business Heads and Line Managers for planned and ad-hoc learning interventions.
- Facilitate internal training programs and ensure participation across field locations.
- Maintain training records including attendance, feedback, evaluation, TNI, and training effectiveness.
1. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage employee movement processes including transfers, relocation, probation, and confirmations.
- Coordinate separation processes including resignation formalities, exit interviews, and full & final settlement closure.
- Ensure seamless coordination with Shared Services teams and adherence to defined timelines.
1. HR Operations & Policy Deployment
- Drive implementation and governance of HR policies, processes, and HR systems across branch locations.
- Support rollout and communication of recent HR initiatives across India.
- Ensure process discipline and employee experience excellence.
1. Employee Welfare & Safety
- Coordinate employee welfare initiatives and support employee wellbeing programs.
- Facilitate health and wellness activities including annual medical examinations and employee support programs.
1. Employee Relations & Workforce Engagement
- Build strong relationships with field employees and business teams through regular interactions and structured interventions.
- Address employee concerns proactively and strengthen engagement across locations.
- Support creation of a positive and high-performance work culture.
1. Business Partnership & Branch Engagement
- Conduct periodic visits across branch locations across India to understand business priorities and employee requirements.
- Partner with business leaders to deliver people solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 3–9 years of relevant experience in Business HR / HR Generalist / HRBP roles.
- Experience handling decentralized HR operations and supporting geographically distributed business teams is preferred.
- Prior experience supporting Sales organizations or PAN India field teams will be highly preferred.
Education
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (Mandatory)
