We are seeking a .NET Development Lead / Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of a critical client engagement. This role requires a strong technical leader who can architect scalable solutions using .NET Core, Angular/React, and Azure/AWS, while directly leading a small team of 2-4 developers. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with excellent client communication skills and is available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Own architectural decisions for .NET Core applications and APIs, and bring the team along on the reasoning.
- Lead design discussions, drive technical scoping, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Conduct thorough code reviews that elevate code quality and enforce best practices, coding standards, and patterns across the team.
- Identify and proactively remove technical blockers that slow down delivery.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the client, communicating progress, risks, and technical decisions clearly and proactively.

Hands-On Development

- Actively contribute to development writing, reviewing, and shipping production code alongside the team.
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core applications and RESTful APIs using Angular/React on the front end.
- Integrate cloud-based solutions on Azure/AWS and contribute to DevOps initiatives.
- Contribute hands-on to development where required, particularly on complex or high-priority modules.

Team & Delivery

- Directly manage and mentor a team of 2-4 developers,



fostering ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to define, estimate, and deliver features.
- Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming translating requirements into well-scoped technical tasks.
- Partner with leadership to improve team velocity, engineering processes, and delivery predictability.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of overall software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core.
- 2+ years in a Tech Lead, Senior Lead, or equivalent technical leadership role.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Strong working experience with Azure/AWS cloud services.
- Proven experience leading small development teams (2-4 members).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Solid understanding of database design and SQL.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setup.
- Immediate availability to join.

Valuable to Have

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Prior experience in a client-facing consulting or staffing environment.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
