We are looking for an experienced Airflow Platform Administrator / Backend Engineer to manage, support, and enhance enterprise-scale Apache Airflow environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Airflow platform administration, upgrades, performance optimisation, and cloud-native orchestration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Apache Airflow platforms.
- Manage Airflow RBAC, user access controls, and multi-tenant environments.
- Plan and execute Airflow 3.x upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements.
- Configure and support Airflow executors, including Celery Executor and Kubernetes Executor.
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, high availability, and security.
- Perform platform performance tuning and implement operational best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support business and technical requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for workflow orchestration platforms.

Required Experience

- 711 years of experience in platform engineering, administration,



and support of Apache Airflow environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Apache Airflow administration and operations.
- Proven experience with Airflow upgrades, migrations, and platform modernisation.
- Robust understanding of Kubernetes-based deployments and cloud-native architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience in Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) environments is preferred.
