JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Compliance & Safety: Follow safety procedures while handling and issuing heavy or hazardous materials.

2. Monitoring, analysis and control of all Cost Accounting activities.

3. Ensures all internal controls are in line with the organizational goals.

4. To perform daily, weekly and monthly cost accounting tasks with a greater focus on analysis.

5. Checking BOMs and routes entered by engineering dept. for accuracy and ensuring correct standard costs.

6. Validate posting from production transfers, sales, open W.I.P., purchase orders receipt and labour. Correct any errors prior to month end, monthly analysis, annual physical inventory, year-end closing and audit reporting.

Validate and check standard labour postings from production and actual labor from payroll to ensure expenses and burden absorbed accuracy.

8. Recommend and establish processes to improve cost accuracy.

9. Involve in Physical Inventory team.

10. Involve in mass cost roll process.

11. Gross Margin reporting and analysis.

12. Compare actuals with standard and Variance analysis and Reporting.

13. PPV analysis.

14. Labour variances

15. Review of pending issues with management on weekly basis.

16 Preparation of Product cost Budgeting and Budgetary control exercise.

17. BRS (Bank Reconciliation Statements).

18. MIS & Monthly Closures including Dynic reporting.

19. Review and report on periodical management reports in Microsoft Dynamics AX, ERP on cost accounting modules and compliance.

20. Developing and implementing costing, assessing completeness and accuracy of cost collation, job costing, material variance nuances, ensure proper documentation, in-depth cost monitoring and analysis, commercial skills to suggest cost savings, stakeholder support and advice.

21. IGAAP knowledge is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

1. Qualified CMA with B.Com/M.Com (UG or PG) (any Bachelor or Master Degree).

2. Experience in costing and management accounting.

3. Minimum 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in the same domain.

4. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or any ERP will be an added advantage

5. The Person will be based in our office in India.
