Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PPDS Consultant with hands-on expertise in SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling), SAP S/4HANA Embedded PPDS, and SAP APO PPDS. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, and supply chain planning, with experience in system configuration, integration, and support.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, implement, and support SAP PPDS solutions in SAP APO and SAP S/4HANA Embedded PPDS.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PPDS solutions.
- Configure and maintain master data, planning strategies, heuristics, and scheduling parameters.
- Manage and troubleshoot CIF (Core Interface) for seamless master and transaction data integration.
- Support production planning, capacity planning, detailed scheduling, and MRP processes.
- Work closely with business users, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to resolve issues and optimize planning processes.
- Support integration between SAP PPDS and modules such as PP, MM, SD, and Demand Planning (DP).
- Participate in testing, system upgrades, deployments, and production support activities.
- Prepare functional documentation, test cases, and user training materials.




- Ensure timely resolution of production issues and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PPDS.
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded PPDS and/or SAP APO PPDS.
- Good knowledge of CIF (Core Interface) configuration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of SAP Demand Planning (DP) and SAP BW.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, and Detailed Scheduling.
- Experience in Process Manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of SAP PP integration with MM, SD, and other supply chain modules.
- Experience in configuration, implementation, support, and issue resolution.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP PPDS certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation or support projects.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies is preferred.
