Job Description

The QA Tester would be responsible for quality validation of a cloud-hosted platform with a React/TypeScript front end, Java/Spring Boot microservices, AWS-managed identity, and managed data services. The role focuses on application QA, API testing, authentication and entitlement validation, reporting, integrations, document workflows, and search validation, with cross-training across the broader Product Development application portfolio.

Responsibilities

- Execute test plans, validate regression scope, support release-readiness checks, and perform production validation.
- Validate identity, authentication, entitlement, and role-based access scenarios built on Amazon Cognito
- Test document workflows, reporting, search, and integration scenarios including Qualtrics surveys, Lucidchart process-flow diagrams, and Jaspersoft Visualize.js reporting
- Test REST APIs, microservices, database-driven workflows, third-party integrations, and front-end application behavior
- Validate OpenSearch-based search, S3-based document storage, and Redis-backed application behavior
- Perform test data setup, validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation using SQL
- Support UAT, defect triage, retesting, release signoff, and quality communication across product, development, and business stakeholders
- Use QA automation or AI-assisted tools where appropriate to accelerate test design, regression scripting, and test maintenance
- Cross-train and provide QA coverage.

Essential Skills

Job

- 3-5 years of experience in QA, software testing,



or quality engineering for enterprise web applications
- Experience executing test plans, validating regression scope, supporting release-readiness checks, and performing production validation
- Ability to validate identity, authentication, entitlement, role-based access, document workflows, reporting, search, and integration scenarios
- Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, database-driven workflows, third-party integrations, and front-end application behavior
- Working SQL knowledge for test data setup, validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation
- Ability to support UAT, defect triage, retesting, release signoff, and quality communication across stakeholders

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document defects and test evidence
- Team-oriented approach to working with product, development, and business stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to testing

Preferred Skills

Job

- Experience using QA automation or AI-assisted tools to accelerate test design, regression scripting, and test maintenance
- Exposure to AWS services such as Cognito, S3, and OpenSearch from a testing perspective
- Experience testing embedded third-party integrations such as Qualtrics, Lucidchart, or Jaspersoft
- Experience with VersionOne, Jira, or equivalent Agile ticketing systems

Other Relevant Information

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in QA or software testing, preferably for enterprise SaaS platforms
- Willingness to cross-train and provide QA coverage across multiple applications
