- Plan deployment of machinery/vehicles (cranes, batching plants, transit mixers, hoists, etc.) as per site requirements
- Monitor equipment utilisation, breakdowns, and maintenance schedules
- Maintain logbooks, fuel consumption records, and maintenance history
- Coordinate with vendors for hired equipment, breakdown support, and statutory certifications
- Ensure equipment operators are trained/certified and comply with safety norms
- Track equipment costing and support monthly utilisation report
Manager Level PMV
- Plan and manage the overall plant, machinery, and fleet strategy for the project(s)
- Optimise equipment deployment and utilisation across multiple sites to control cost
- Lead preventive maintenance planning and vendor/AMC management
- Ensure statutory compliance (fitness, insurance, PUC, operator licenses) for all equipment
- Drive cost-benefit analysis for owned vs hired equipment decisions
- Establish PMV safety standards and audit compliance across sites
- Report equipment performance, cost, and downtime metrics to management
