Role purpose (overall high level summary of the role)
The role encompasses a number of tasks involving analysis of various forms related CRS & FATCA across multiple business lines and regulatory environment (Customer Due Diligence & Tax). Focus is on high quality and hence aspirants are expected to comply with CRS & FATCA Regulations, policies/procedures and ensure customer profiles are prepared in accordance with Group and Regulatory Policy, obtaining documents as required from the client / relationship manager, undertakes all the necessary checks, and ensures appropriate escalation is followed according to Policy.

Impact on the Business/Function
Managing requests assigned in a timely and accurate manner and contributing towards undertaking end to end remediation process to enhance positive client experience.
Aligning efforts and Adhering to all Performance Level Agreements
Targeted involvement in Completing other related duties as assigned.
Work and collaborate closely with Lines of Business/Tax Teams to ensure bottlenecks are resolved efficiently and in timely manner.
Customers / Stakeholders
Proactively develop understanding of the business and product area thus creating a knowledge base within process
Work closely with all stakeholders to develop and vet new business requests in an efficient and timely manner, thereby enhancing performance, quality,
and accuracy and reducing TAT.
Working closely with the Assistant Managers and Quality Checking Analysts providing support and coverage as appropriate
Operational Effectiveness & Control
Identify, analyse and respond on issues and queries accurately by following the standards, procedures, policies and group guidelines
Perform activities and meet quality parameters defined in for the process.
Understand and assess feedback to ensure errors are not repeated.
Adhere to the compliance/ audit requirements set and communicated by the GSC Management
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information of users; ensure breach of confidentiality is immediately bought to the attention of the line manager.
Leadership & Teamwork
Ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure.
Crisis management and process team meetings. Provide support and guidance to your peer group/share best practices to meet process/department objectives.
Own the profile management of requests assigned.
Should be an active team player.
Liaise with different teams as required to onshore /offshore to resolve queries, if any.
Requirements
Functional Knowledge
A bachelor’s degree or with equivalent industry/functional experience (E)
Computer literate and ability to work on basic applications like MS Excel, MS Word and Lotus Notes (E)
Excellent Communication skills in English written and verbal (E)
Ability to be flexible and willing to change along with changes in corporate and department objectives in addition to recommending changes to assist in meeting these objectives. (E)
Ability to balance quality and quantity (volumes) with primary focus on quality. (E)
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving and changing priorities. Procedures change frequently; selected candidates are expected to implement the changes immediately with minimal training. (E)
Is self-motivated, pragmatic - sense of urgency is a must.

o FATCA & CRS knowledge(D)
o Need to build solid product knowledge across various projects and Lines of Business to ensure successful migration / performance of the processes.
o The most significant challenge in the role is ensuring the highest standards of customer service in terms of timeliness and customer experience, as these are key services that also differentiate the bank’s offerings to customers and will accordingly impact customer loyalty and future business customer intend to do.
o To fully understand the existing regulatory environment and processes of the business and impact on day-to-day activities.
o To be aware of changes in the policies and procedures which will impact performance/process.
