- Implement site-specific HSE plans, permits-to-work, and toolbox talks
- Conduct daily safety inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, and statutory registers
- Coordinate PPE compliance, safety training, and induction for workforce
- Investigate near-misses/incidents and support corrective action implementation
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety norms
Manager Level Safety (HSE)
- Develop and implement the project/organizational HSE management system
- Lead the safety team across the site(s), driving a solid safety culture
- Conduct HSE audits, risk assessments (HIRA), and emergency preparedness drills
- Ensure statutory compliance (Factory Act, labour laws, environmental clearances, etc.)
- Lead investigation of major incidents/accidents and implement systemic corrective actions
- Present safety performance, leading/lagging indicators, and improvement plans to management
- Liaise with client, PMC, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters
