The Senior Manager u2013 Application Development / IT Delivery is responsible for leading end-to-end software delivery, managing multiple development teams, and ensuring successful execution of large-scale IT programs. This role combines technical leadership, delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning to drive business outcomes.

Required Qualifications/Experience

- Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Hands on experience with Java technologies
- Proven experience managing large-scale software development and delivery programs.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects from initiation to deployment.
- Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Define project plans, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery strategies.
- Monitor progress, track KPIs, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and issues with proactive mitigation strategies.
- Oversee change management and ensure smooth implementation of enhancements.
- Manage and mentor multiple teams (10u201320+ members), including developers, QA, and analysts.
- Provide leadership to first-level managers, supervisors, and individual contributors.

- Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Process & Quality Management

- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery frameworks.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery and operations.
- Establish and enforce best practices for SDLC, DevOps, and release management.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Healthcare domain (PBM, Medicaid, MMIS, DSS) is a plus.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
