- Perform routine and specialized Hematology and Clinical Pathology laboratory tests.
- Operate and maintain automated hematology analyzers and laboratory equipment.
- Analyze blood, urine, stool, body fluids, and other clinical specimens.
- Prepare and examine peripheral blood smears using microscopy.
- Perform CBC, ESR, Coagulation, Urine Analysis, Semen Analysis, Stool Examination, and Body Fluid Analysis.
- Ensure accurate sample processing, testing, validation, and reporting.
- Conduct internal quality control (IQC) and participate in external quality assurance (EQAS) programs.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain documentation, test records, and laboratory registers as per NABL/NABH standards.
- Follow SOPs, biosafety protocols,
and infection control guidelines.
- Identify abnormal findings and escalate critical values to the Pathologist.
- Ensure proper specimen collection, handling, storage, and disposal.
- Coordinate with clinicians and other laboratory departments for timely reporting.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents and consumables.
- Comply with all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), DMLT, or equivalent.
- Registration with the Telangana State Paramedical Council (if applicable).
