Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing interior design and fit-out projects from concept to completion. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective coordination among internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership

- Lead multiple interior design and fit-out projects simultaneously across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and design teams.
- Manage the complete project lifecyclefrom project initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and final handover.

2. Client Coordination

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication of project requirements, progress updates, and design intent.
- Manage client expectations and resolve project-related issues or conflicts promptly.

3. Planning & Scheduling

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and project milestones.
- Monitor project timelines and proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risks or delays.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure alignment with project schedules.

4. Budget & Cost Control

- Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with approved cost estimates.
- Review and approve procurement requests.




- Manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and project variations.
- Work closely with Quantity Surveying (QS) and Finance teams to track project costs and optimize resource utilization.

5. Team & Site Management

- Lead site teams, project engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Oversee snagging activities and ensure successful project completion and handover.

6. Quality & Compliance

- Ensure all work complies with approved design specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations.
- Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies across all project sites.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.

Requirements

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management.

Experience

- 8–12 years of project management experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a senior project management role within the interior design or fit-out industry.

Required Skills

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent project planning and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Project
- Primavera
- AutoCAD

- Solid communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of:

- Interior materials and finishes
- MEP coordination
- Interior fit-out execution

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Experience managing luxury interior fit-out projects.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Knowledge of sustainable interior design and fit-out practices.
