Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead End-to-End Implementations: Lead and support full-cycle SAP Ariba implementation projects, from initial design and configuration to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Solution Design & Configuration: Design, configure, and customize SAP Ariba modules to align with client business requirements and procurement best practices. Modules include:
- Strategic Sourcing
- Contract Management
- Procurement / Ariba Buying & Invoicing
- Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)
- Ariba Network and Commerce Automation.

- Drive Integration Strategy: Partner with technical teams to manage and execute integrations between SAP Ariba and core ERP system S/4HANA using tools like SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), ensuring seamless data flow for purchase orders, invoices, and other key documents.
- Lead Client Workshops: Lead workshops with key stakeholders (Procurement, AP, Legal, Finance, IT) to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective functional and technical specifications.
- Manage Master Data: Lead activities for data migration, rationalization, and harmonization, including supplier master data deduplication, catalog alignment, and user/approval setup.
- Provide Training & Support: Deliver user training, create comprehensive documentation (configuration guides, process flows, user manuals), and provide ongoing troubleshooting and support to ensure high user adoption and system performance.
- Facilitate Testing Cycles: Support testing processes including Functional Unit Testing (FUT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage defect resolution and cutover planning.
- Stay Current:



Keep abreast of the latest SAP Ariba innovations, industry trends, and best practices, and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Manage and enhance the companys existing Ariba P2P (Buying & Invoicing) and Contract Management modules.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (Procurement, AP, Legal, IT) and Ariba support.
- Lead catalog management – enable punchout catalogs, maintain vendor price lists, and eliminate maverick spend.
- Automate invoice-to-pay processes – reduce manual interventions, resolve invoice exceptions, and improve early payment discounts.
- Create and maintain monthly procurement dashboards (spend under management, contract compliance, PO cycle times).

Required Qualifications:

- Experience: 5-8+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Ariba Consultant, with a proven track record in full-cycle implementations.
- Module Expertise: Strong, hands-on configuration experience in at least two to three core SAP Ariba modules (e.g., Sourcing, P2P, SLP, Contracts).
- Integration Skills: Demonstrated experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP ECC or S/4HANA. Proficiency with the SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) is essential.
- Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Business Acumen: Robust understanding of procurement and supply chain business processes, including supplier management and strategic sourcing.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
