Job Title: Lead Payments Platforms Department: Payments and Digital Services, MGNI Reports To: Head Payments Platforms Job Purpose

The Lead Payments Platforms is responsible for managing the Bank s critical payment systems, with a primary focus on overseeing the migration from Oracle Flexcube 11.2 to Oracle Banking Payments (OBP) 14.7. This role demands strong leadership, technical depth, and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless platform transition, ongoing operational excellence, and adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.

1. Platform Transition Management

- Lead the end-to-end migration from Flexcube 11.2 to OBP 14.7 with minimal disruption.

- Develop project timelines, migration playbooks, and contingency plans.

- Supervise configuration, validation, and testing of UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production environments.

2. Functional Technical Oversight

- Serve as the functional lead for payments workflows and OBP module configurations.

- Review and validate functional specifications and data mapping documents.

- Ensure business processes are accurately reflected and regulatory compliant.

3. Stakeholder Alignment Business Support

- Collaborate with business, operations, and compliance teams for requirement gathering and solution validation.

- Act as a single point of contact for business-related migration queries.

- Drive UAT planning, execution, and sign-offs.

4. Vendor Third-Party Coordination

- Liaise with Oracle and implementation partners to track deliverables and resolve issues.

- Oversee certification of third-party integrations including central banks, clearinghouses, and gateways.

5. Risk Management Controls

- Establish strong data integrity, reconciliation, and fallback controls.

- Address audit, compliance, and operational risks proactively.

- Define and validate rollback and recovery strategies.

6. Knowledge Management Team Enablement

- Create platform documentation, manuals,



and user guides.

- Conduct training sessions and hyper-care support post go-live.

- Maintain traceability matrices for migrated functions.

7. Post-Migration Stabilization Optimization

- Lead defect triage, SLA adherence, and system performance tuning.

- Implement monitoring tools and dashboards for transaction health and alerts.

- Recommend automation and process improvement opportunities.

8. System Readiness Production Support

- Ensure production readiness via infrastructure validation, HA/ DR testing, and system checks.

- Define SOPs for L1/ L2 support and ensure complete knowledge transfer.

- Participate in cutover rehearsals, go-live, and post-release validations.

- Cross-functional collaboration with internal and third-party stakeholders.

- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory, audit, and DR/ BCP requirements.

- Use innovation and technology (AI/ ML/ Automation) to improve business outcomes.

- Full ownership of change management, release, and incident resolution processes.

- Use sound judgment for timely, effective decision-making.

- Escalate issues and ensure resolution plans are in place.

Qualifications and Experience

- 8 10 years of experience in the payments domain with hands-on expertise in Oracle Banking Products.

- Strong knowledge of banking and payment processes.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
