Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end production activities of the Value Plant.
- Oversee operations of Pickling Line, Tandem Mill, Cold Rolling Mill, Rolling Mill, Slitting Line, and Seasoning Process.
- Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in coordination with PPC.
- Ensure maximum machine utilization and achieve production targets.
- Drive productivity improvement initiatives and continuous process optimization.
- Monitor and reduce process wastage, yield losses, and operational costs.
- Analyze production breakdowns and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Dispatch, and Planning teams for smooth operations.
- Optimize manpower deployment and improve workforce productivity.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs such as OEE, Yield, Productivity, Rejection, Downtime,



and Line Efficiency.
- Train and mentor production teams to improve operational excellence.
- Ensure timely completion of production schedules while maintaining product quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production Engineering, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience in Steel Manufacturing
- Strong understanding of CRM operations and finishing lines.
- Hands-on experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and ISO systems will be preferred.
- Valuable communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.
