We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer with 8–10 years of strong hands-on experience in Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter. The ideal candidate should have expertise in configuration, integration, and customization along with solid knowledge of insurance domain concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter).
- Perform configuration using Guidewire tools including Product Model, PCF, and Data Model.
- Develop integrations using SOAP/REST web services, messaging, and middleware.
- Work on Guidewire GOSU scripting and business rules.
- Customize UI screens and workflows as per business requirements.
- Participate in requirement gathering, analysis, design, and development phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and Architects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide support.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Guidewire (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter).
- Hands-on experience in Guidewire configuration (PCF, Data Model, Business Rules).
- Proficiency in GOSU programming language.
- Experience in Guidewire integrations (REST/SOAP, Messaging).
- Good understanding of Guidewire architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Preferred Skills
- Guidewire Certification (ACE Certified preferred).
- Experience in Guidewire Cloud platform.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD).
- Exposure to Insurance domain (P&C; Insurance preferred).
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field.
