Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Sterling Integrator (SI), IBM Connect:Direct, Sterling Secure Proxy, and IBM HTTP Server.
- Monitor file transfer services, system health, logs, and performance to ensure seamless business operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents while leading root cause analysis and incident resolution.
- Support secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, and Connect:Direct.
- Administer and maintain Linux, Unix, and Windows environments supporting MFT infrastructure.
- Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics,
and ThousandEyes for proactive issue detection.
- Follow ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
- Drive automation and continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and system stability.
- Collaborate with global technology teams and participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotations.
