Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Accounting Center Consultant with solid expertise in Workday Accounting Center (WAC), Workday Prism Analytics, and Financial Data Integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience configuring Accounting Center, ingesting data from external systems through Prism, and transforming operational data into accounting events for financial reporting and ledger posting.

The role involves working closely with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to design, implement, and support scalable accounting solutions within the Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Accounting Center Implementation & Support

- Configure and support Workday Accounting Center (WAC) solutions.
- Design and maintain accounting rules, accounting transformations, and accounting event mappings.
- Configure accounting journals, ledger mappings, and posting logic.
- Support accounting event generation from external business systems.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment aligned with finance and compliance requirements.

Workday Prism Analytics

- Design and develop Prism datasets and data pipelines.
- Ingest data from external sources into Workday Prism.
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and validation activities.
- Build and maintain data models supporting Accounting Center requirements.
- Optimize Prism pipelines and datasets for performance and scalability.

Financial Data Integration

- Integrate external source systems with Workday Accounting Center using Prism Analytics.




- Support inbound and outbound financial data interfaces.
- Validate accounting event generation and financial posting accuracy.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and data reconciliation challenges.

Financial & Accounting Process Support

- Work with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Support accounting processes related to:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Journal Entries
- Financial Reconciliation
- Accounting Events
- Financial Reporting

- Translate accounting requirements into Workday Accounting Center configurations.

Testing & Validation

- Participate in:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Production Validation

- Validate accounting results, journal postings, and financial data accuracy.
- Support defect resolution and deployment activities.

Production Support & Documentation

- Provide support for Accounting Center and Prism-related issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution.
