We are seeking a mid- to senior-level ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on experience in core ServiceNow platform development and Automated Test Framework (ATF).

The ideal candidate will be a ServiceNow developer first, with solid practical development experience and the ability to build, maintain, and enhance ATF test cases within an established framework. This is not a testing-only role. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting core ServiceNow functionality while expanding automated test coverage.

The selected candidate will work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with globally distributed teams in an Agile setting, with the potential for full-time conversion after the contract period.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across core ITSM modules.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripting, including:
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- Script Includes
- Other platform scripting components

- Work with ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, and related ServiceNow functionality.
- Develop and support CMDB-related functionality.
- Work on ServiceNow integrations with internal and external systems.
- Build, extend, execute, and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test cases.
- Add and enhance ATF test coverage within an existing framework.
- Maintain and improve existing automated tests to support platform quality and stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow development and testing issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other team activities.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders,



developers, testers, product owners, and business teams.
- Work independently within established development and testing frameworks.
- Support ongoing digital transformation and platform initiatives upon conversion to full-time employment.
- Follow ServiceNow development standards, best practices, governance, and documentation requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

ServiceNow Development

- Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development.
- Experience developing and customizing core ITSM modules.
- Experience with modules such as:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- CMDB
- Related ITSM functionality

- Strong scripting experience with:

- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- Script Includes
- Other ServiceNow scripting components

Automated Test Framework (ATF)

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Ability to add, extend, maintain, and enhance ATF test cases within an existing framework.
- Experience increasing automated test coverage.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain existing automated tests.

Important: The role does not require designing an ATF framework from scratch. Experience working within and extending an existing ATF framework is required.

Integrations





- Experience working with ServiceNow integrations.
- Understanding of integration concepts and enterprise system connectivity.

Experience Level

- 3-4 years of ServiceNow development experience is the minimum requirement.
- Candidates with more extensive ServiceNow development experience are strongly preferred.
- Mid-level to senior-level capability with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Required Certification

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required

Preferred Certifications

- Additional ServiceNow certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

- Practical ATF test development and maintenance within an existing framework.

Work Arrangement

- Contract Period: Remote India
- Upon Full-Time Conversion: Hybrid Hyderabad, Telangana, with onsite work 3 days per week.
- Rate: $22/hr. on C2C
- Shift: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM IST (Agile ceremonies 7:30 AM Central / 8:30 AM Eastern)

Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity. The client reserves the right to convert the selected candidate to a full-time employee based on performance, business requirements, and organizational needs.
