Job Description: Oracle Cloud Projects Costing & Billing Consultant

Job Summary

Team is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Projects Costing & Billing Consultant with 8–12 years of experience in Oracle ERP solutions and strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM). The candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end implementations, solution design, configuration, testing, and support of Oracle Cloud Project Costing and Project Billing modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Costing and Project Billing implementations and support engagements.

- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business requirements into functional solutions.

- Configure and manage Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Foundation, and related PPM functionalities.

- Design project structures, expenditure types, burden schedules, transaction controls, and billing methods.

- Configure revenue recognition, invoice generation, contract billing, and project accounting processes.

- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Project Management stakeholders to streamline project financial processes.

- Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, and training materials.

- Support SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.

- Work closely with technical teams on integrations, reports, and customizations.





- Provide post-production support and resolve functional issues.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–12 years of Oracle ERP experience with significant experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM.

- Minimum 2–3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects.

- Solid hands-on experience in:
- Oracle Fusion Project Costing

- Oracle Fusion Project Billing

- Oracle Project Foundation

- Project Financial Management (PPM)

- Revenue Management

- Project Accounting

- Experience integrating PPM with:

- General Ledger (GL)

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Procurement

- Time & Labor

- Solid understanding of project lifecycle costing, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and billing processes.

- Experience with requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM Certification.

- Experience in consulting organizations or Big 4 environments.

- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.

- Solid communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

- Experience leading workshops and mentoring junior consultants.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline.

- MBA, CA, CMA, or Oracle Certifications are preferred.
