We are seeking a skilled and motivated Research Associate / Senior Research Associate Peptide R&D; with 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in peptide chemistry and research. The candidate will be responsible for peptide preparation using Solid-Phase Peptide Chemistry (SPPS) and Liquid-Phase Peptide Chemistry (LPPS) techniques, process optimization, purification support, characterization, documentation, and laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform peptide preparation using Solid-Phase Peptide Chemistry (SPPS) and Liquid-Phase Peptide Chemistry (LPPS) techniques with manual peptide synthesizers.
- Select appropriate amino acids, protecting groups, coupling reagents, resins, and reaction strategies.
- Monitor reaction progress and troubleshoot peptide chemistry-related challenges.
- Perform peptide cleavage from resin and appropriate deprotection procedures.
- Support peptide purification and characterization using HPLC, LC-MS, Mass Spectrometry (MS), and other analytical techniques.
- Interpret analytical data and evaluate peptide purity, molecular weight, yield, and quality.
- Optimize experimental protocols to improve yield, purity, reproducibility, and process efficiency.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, experimental records, technical reports, and research documentation.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP),



Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), EHS requirements, and laboratory safety guidelines.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure timely calibration and proper operation.
- Collaborate with research scientists, analytical teams, quality assurance personnel, and production teams.
- Perform buffer preparation, solution handling, reagent preparation, and other routine laboratory activities.
- Support method development, process improvement, scale-up activities, and technology transfer as required.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in Peptide R&D;, Peptide Chemistry, Pharmaceutical R&D;, CRO, or CRAMS environments.
- Strong knowledge of peptide chemistry and organic chemistry principles.
- Hands-on experience with SPPS and LPPS techniques.
- Experience in amino acid coupling, protection/deprotection chemistry, resin cleavage, and peptide purification.
- Familiarity with analytical instruments and techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, and Mass Spectrometry.
- Ability to troubleshoot experimental and process-related challenges.
- Understanding of laboratory safety regulations, quality systems, GLP, and GMP requirements.
- Strong laboratory documentation, data interpretation, and technical reporting skills
