Job Summary

We are looking for a CMA professional with exposure to EPC costing, tender costing, zero-base budgeting, and budgetary controls. The role will involve working closely with the tendering, project, procurement, and finance teams to support bid costing, budget preparation, cost validation, variance analysis, and management reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a project-driven workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Support preparation of zero-base budgets and validate budget inputs received from site, project, procurement, and commercial teams.
- Prepare EPC project benchmarked costing sheets and maintain project-wise cost trackers.
- Provide inputs for tender costing and support the tendering team in bid price build-up.
- Coordinate with the tendering department to validate cost assumptions, BOQ-based estimates, resource norms, subcontractor rates, and site overheads.
- Monitor actual spend against budget and highlight variances, overruns, and cost savings.
- Assist in monthly budgetary control reviews and project-wise variance analysis.
- Review purchase requests, commitments,



and project expenses for budget availability and correctness.
- Work with project execution, procurement, and tendering teams to ensure consistency between tender assumptions, budget estimates, and actual execution costs.
- Support MIS reporting, cost dashboards, and management presentations.
- Assist in cost closure, audit support, and internal control documentation.
- Participate in periodic budget reforecasting and post-bid cost analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation and support for finance and compliance reviews.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and budgeting concepts.
- Hands-on exposure to EPC costing or tender costing.
- Understanding of zero-base budgeting and budgetary controls.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with SAP ERP system.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and manage deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost validation.

Preferred Experience

- 1.5 to 3 years of relevant experience in EPC, infrastructure, construction, project finance, cost accounting, or tender support.
- Exposure to project-based costing, commercial evaluation, and budget management preferred.
- Prior experience in Renewables, T&D;, Civil construction and EPC environments will be an added advantage.
