Role Summary

We are seeking a GIS ETL Analyst with strong expertise in utility GIS data management, migration, and spatial ETL workflows. The role focuses on data transformation, validation, and migration across enterprise GIS environments using ArcGIS and FME. This is a data-focused position and does not require GIS application development or advanced programming.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update electric and gas utility GIS datasets.

Perform spatial and attribute data editing, validation, and correction.

Support geodatabase maintenance and data governance activities.

Execute GIS data migration projects from legacy GIS, CAD, spreadsheets, and databases.

Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading using FME Workbench.

support schema mapping and data loading into ArcGIS Enterprise geodatabases.

Conduct topology validation and network data integrity checks.

Generate QA/QC reports and support remediation activities.

Educational Background

Required: Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Surveying, Geospatial Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, IT, Environmental Science, or related discipline.

Preferred (not mandatory): Postgraduate qualification in GIS, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, or Spatial Technologies.

Preferred Technical Experience

ArcGIS Pro data editing, maintenance, and validation.

ArcGIS Enterprise & Enterprise Geodatabases.

Hands-on use of FME for ETL workflows.

GIS data conversion from CAD, databases, spreadsheets, and legacy GIS platforms.

Geodatabase management, schema mapping, and data loading.

Topology validation, network connectivity checks, and QA/QC.

ArcGIS Data Reviewer and QA/QC processes.

Experience with Electric & Gas Utility asset data and network models.
