Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and innovative New Product Development (NPD) Engineer to join our team. The NPD Engineer will be responsible for the design, costing & development, and testing of new products from concept to commercialization. The roles and responsibilities include-

- Lead the development of new products by designing, prototyping, and testing new products for railways, automobile components, defence sector etc
- Work closely with production and QA teams to ensure designs meet customer needs and manufacturing capabilities.
- Conduct costing analysis and feasibility study for recent product.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
- Analyze manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.




- Recommend and implement changes to improve product quality and production efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in product design, development, or engineering, in sheet metal industry & Medium/heavy fabrication preferably for railways, defence, automobile components industry.
- Proven experience in managing full product development cycles from concept to production.
- Experience with CAD software/Solid works
- Familiarity with materials grade, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
