Role & Responsibilities

- Generate and qualify leads through tele-calling, physical follow-ups, and enquiry tracking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers such as architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project managers to generate specifications, referrals, and repeat business.
- Conduct regular visits and presentations to architect/engineer offices and consultancy firms to position company products in upcoming projects and get them specified at the design stage.
- Prepare and share accurate quotations as per customer requirements.
- Act as a single point of contact from enquiry to order execution and delivery coordination.
- Follow up on pending quotations, negotiate rates within approved margins, and close orders.
- Coordinate with dispatch, accounts, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material supply.
- Track receivables, payment follow-ups, and maintain updated client-wise MIS and pipeline reports.
- Maintain an updated database of influencers, track ongoing and upcoming projects in the territory,



and report market intelligence on competitor activity and pricing.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2-7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in steel, construction materials, or industrial products.
- Proven experience in liaisoning with influencers (architects, engineers, consultants, contractors) and an existing network in the construction/infrastructure ecosystem will be a solid advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; confident in tele-calling and follow-ups.
- Ability to understand product specifications and handle techno-commercial discussions with technical stakeholders.
- Organized and detail-oriented with good command over Excel and basic MIS reporting.
- Target-driven, proactive, and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- High ownership mindset with ability to coordinate across departments and ensure closure.
- Willingness to travel locally for site visits, project tracking, and influencer meetings.
