We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CFBC DCS Boiler Engineer to operate, monitor, and maintain CFBC Boiler systems through Distributed Control System (DCS) platforms in Thermal Power Plants.
The ideal candidate should possess robust operational knowledge of CFBC Boilers, BTG systems, and DCS controls while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate CFBC Boiler systems through DCS.
- Ensure safe startup, shutdown, and normal operation of boiler equipment.
- Monitor critical operating parameters and optimize boiler performance.
- Coordinate with field operators for troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Handle emergency situations and process upsets effectively.
- Maintain operational logs, reports, and shift records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor steam generation, combustion efficiency, and emissions.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams for equipment reliability.
- Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Analyze process trends and recommend performance improvements.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and quality standards.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in CFBC Boiler operations.
- Experience in Thermal Power Plant operations.
- Exposure to BTG (Boiler, Turbine & Generator) systems.
- Experience in DCS operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of combustion systems and boiler auxiliaries.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Educational Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
