Senior Linux Security Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Linux Security Engineer to secure next-generation battery energy storage platforms. This critical role focuses on designing and implementing comprehensive security architecture for Linux-based control systems.

The ideal candidate will be a Linux hardening specialist with deep expertise in securing enterprise systems and will lead the implementation of security controls across the platform. The role ensures that energy storage solutions meet the highest cybersecurity standards while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy enterprise-wide Linux hardening initiatives, including:

- OS-level security configurations
- Secure boot implementation
- Kernel security enhancements

- Design and enforce:

- File system security policies
- Logging and auditing mechanisms
- Continuous monitoring frameworks

- Harden network stack configurations, including:

- Firewall rules
- Secure protocol implementations
- Network segmentation strategies

- Develop and maintain:

- Linux hardening baselines
- Security benchmarks
- Automated compliance validation frameworks

- Minimize attack surface through:

- Service reduction
- Secure default configurations
- Removal of unnecessary software components

- Design and implement secure architectures for visualization platforms and monitoring systems.




- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Perform:

- Vulnerability assessments
- Security gap analysis
- Penetration testing coordination

- Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies relevant to Linux environments.
