About the Role

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 610 years of experience across finance, controllership, FPA, business finance,



audit, and compliance functions within a startup or corporate environment.

This is a high-impact leadership role that combines strategic finance, financial controllership, business partnering, and operational excellence.

The role will be responsible for driving financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, business performance reviews, accounting governance, audits, tax compliance, and cost optimization initiatives across the

organization. You will work closely with senior leadership, functional heads, external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure financial discipline while enabling business growth.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes from the ground up, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can balance strategic thinking with robust execution.

Specifically, this role will involve

- Owning monthly MIS, management reporting, financial dashboards, and business performance reviews.
- Leading annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Providing actionable insights to leadership through financial analytics, KPI tracking, and business performance monitoring.
- Driving monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Managing accounting operations, balance sheet governance, reconciliations, inter-company accounting, and financial controls.
- Establishing and strengthening financial policies, governance frameworks, and internal controls across multiple entities.
- Leading statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, due diligence exercises, and regulatory reviews.
- Managing direct tax, indirect tax, GST, TDS,



corporate tax compliance, and regulatory filings.
- Partnering with auditors, consultants, banking partners, and regulatory authorities for seamless compliance management.
- Driving budget monitoring, profitability analysis, margin improvement, and cost governance initiatives.
- Supporting strategic decision-making through financial modeling, business case evaluations, scenario planning, and investment analysis.
- Collaborating with business leaders to improve financial discipline, resource allocation, and operating efficiency.
- Leading automation initiatives across MIS, reporting, ERP systems, and finance operations.
- Building scalable finance processes to support a fast-growing, multi-country business.
- Managing and mentoring finance team members while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.

Ideal candidate will have

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
- 610 years of post-qualification experience in Finance, Controllership, FPA, Audit, or Business Finance.
- Experience working in a startup, high-growth company, consulting firm, or large corporate environment.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial controls.
- Proven experience managing audits, due diligence, governance frameworks, and statutory compliance.
- Strong understanding of business finance, profitability management, and cost optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
- Ability to operate effectively within a multi-entity and global business environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and automation initiatives.
