- Handling network design activities Viz. route planning, scheduling etc. to design a low cost and reliable network that meets the defined needs.
- Identifying opportunities for improving network speed, cost reliability through design contributing to profitability by performing network studies and present decision base for management approval.
- Managing day to day network operations i.e. day to day load planning / vehicle availability planning in coordination with fleet and hubs.
- Maintain a dynamic overview of connections via key hubs for network related discussions and decisions.
- Ensuring on time arrival and departure of vehicles through effective planning.
- Suggesting improvements and optimization in network and line haul.
- Drive cost reduction and service delivery through various cross functional activities.
- Generating and managing different MIS reports such as Vehicle Utilization, Network Performance, Hub Tonnage Handling etc.
- Analyzing data to determine health of network and work with operations to identify cause of failure thereby determining corrective actions required.
- Extending necessary support for DEPS closure in network as per requirement.
- Planning locations, manpower and infrastructure as per load pattern.
- Develop implementation plan for approved network changes and subsequently evaluate performance against signed-off decision bases.
- Manage external & internal Escalations & extending support resolving issues regarding Damages, shortage and missing in transit shipments with concerned department
- Ensuring that all DEPS (recorded at all touch points 100 %.
- Ensure that all recorded DEPS are closed within timeline of Branch & Network. Branch within 24 Hour and Hub as per matrix of highest TAT of Longest Route.
- Ensure that training is happening in all Hubs in consolidation of Branch team and Labors as well in every Quarter. And create training module documentation
- Data Evaluation of DEPS & Further Improvement: - Evaluation of the trends of DEPS in all matrix and working on to improve on the trend.
- SOP Creation for current boarding customer and SOP existing customer to control the DEPS.
- Settling claims /COF with due diligence within time frame.
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline
Relevant Experience:
- 7- 10 years experience in logistics Industry in similar profile.
Competencies
- Experience in Express/HUB operations and MIS preparations
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Generate and analyze MIS and submit to Sr. Management for review and decision
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
