- Manage and maintain accurate coding systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze medical records and assign appropriate codes using expertise in E/M services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify coding discrepancies and ensure accurate claims processing.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Provide training and support to junior coders, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Stay updated with changes in coding regulations and guidelines, applying this knowledge to improve coding quality.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding principles, including E/M services.
- Experience working with CRM/IT enabled services or BPO industry is preferred.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with industry-standard coding software and technology, such as Epic Systems or other electronic health records.
