Role Overview We are seeking two experienced D365 CE Technical Developers / Consultants to design, build, and deliver customisations, integrations, and extensions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, primarily across the Sales and Customer Service modules. The role requires strong hands-on technical skills combined with solid functional understanding of D365 CE, working closely with business analysts and solution architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit-test customisations within D365 CE, including plugins, workflows, custom APIs, and JavaScript/TypeScript client-side logic.
- Build and maintain integrations between D365 CE and other systems (ERP, middleware, third-party applications) using Dataverse APIs, Azure services, or Power Automate.
- Configure and extend D365 CE Sales and Customer Service modules entities, forms, views, business rules, security roles, and business process flows.
- Develop and maintain Power Platform components (Power Apps model-driven/canvas apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI reports) supporting the CE solution.
- Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical input on feasibility, effort estimation, and best practices.
- Perform data migration development data mapping, transformation, and load scripts (e.g., using tools like KingswaySoft, Data Migration Utility, or custom scripts).
- Support system testing, UAT defect resolution, deployment activities, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Follow ALM/DevOps best practices source control, solution packaging, and managed solution deployment across environments (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod).
- Document technical designs, configurations,
and customisations for handover and support purposes.
- Collaborate with onshore business analysts, architects, and project managers in an offshore delivery model.
Required Skills Experience
- 8+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on D365 CE / CRM development experience.
- Strong development experience with plugins, custom workflows, custom APIs, and client-side scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript) in D365 CE.
- Solid understanding of Dataverse data model, security model, and solution architecture.
- Practical experience with Power Platform Power Automate, Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), and Power BI.
- Experience integrating D365 CE with external systems via Web API, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or similar.
- Functional understanding of Sales and Customer Service modules to translate requirements into technical solutions accurately.
- Familiarity with ALM practices solution layering, managed/unmanaged solutions, source control (Azure DevOps/GitHub), CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform.
- Experience with data migration tools and techniques for D365 CE.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation skills.
- Positive communication skills and ability to work effectively in an offshore delivery model with onshore stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft certifications such as MB-500 (D365 Finance and Operations Developer equivalent skillset), PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), or MB-230/MB-210.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines for Power Platform ALM.
- Exposure to AI-enabled extensions (Copilot for Sales/Service, custom LLM integrations) within D365 CE.
- Prior experience delivering in a POD-based or distributed delivery model for global clients.
