- Perform installation, commissioning, and calibration of X-ray machines as per company standards.
- Ensure site readiness (power, grounding, radiation shielding, room layout) before installation.
- Conduct acceptance testing and handover to customers with proper documentation.
2. Preventive Maintenance Service
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance service with standard protocol to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Maintain PM checklists, service logs, and compliance records.
- Identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions proactively.
3. Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance
- Attend customer breakdown calls within defined TAT.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults in X-ray systems.
- Minimize machine downtime and ensure quick restoration of services.
4. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with AERB / regulatory guidelines and safety norms.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and company quality standards.
- Support audits, inspections, and certification activities

Customer Support & Satisfaction
- Provide technical guidance and operational training to radiographers and hospital staff
- Maintain qualified communication and build strong customer relationships
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely and effective service
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate service reports and spare part usage records
- Update service management systems regularly
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly service activity reports
7. Spare Parts & Inventory Management
- Identify spare part requirements and coordinate with service head.
- Ensure proper handling and replacement of spares.
- Minimize repeat failures by using genuine and approved components.
8. Training & Skill Development
- Stay updated on new X-ray technologies, upgrades, and product launches
- Participate in technical training programs.
- Share knowledge and best practices with other engineers & staff
