- General Finance Management is responsible for the day-to-dayfinancial activities of the organization including:
- Controlling its financial resources and ensuring that allfinancial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations,accounting principles, and standards
- Financial analysis and reporting, taxation, insurance,credit control, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and costs control,and budgeting and forecasting
- Analyzing the organization''s revenues, liabilities, creditconditions, and other financial indicators to forecast it''s short, medium, andlong-term cash flow position
- Evaluating and recommending investments and other financialinstruments to meet cash flow needs
- Advising management on financial matters and the impact oflaws and regulations on the organization
- Providing expertise and advice to managers to help themdevelop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financialresponsibilities
- Presenting findings and recommendations to top executives;preparing financial reports that may include auditor and financial analystreports, profit and loss, balance sheets, and regulatory reports and filings




- Ensuring all tax returns, declarations, and other requiredreports are submitted accurately and on time
- Selecting and managing relationships with consultants andadvisors to ensure the satisfactory standards of service
- Experienced Specialist in one specialized discipline as wellas having a thorough understanding of related disciplines.
- Will most often be a driving force behind the development ofnew solutions for programs, complex projects, processes or activities.
- Serves as final decision/opinion maker in the area, coaches,mentors and trains others on the area of expertise.
- Ensures the implementation of short to medium termactivities within the business area OR support sub-function in the context ofthe strategy for the department.
- Ensures appropriate policies, processes & standards aredeveloped and implemented to support short to medium term tactical direction.
- Leads a team of Specialists ,sometimes with severalhierarchical levels, with full employee lifecycle responsibility.
