Currently we are looking for a Category Manager Logistics based in Bangalore, India who will be responsible for managing sourcing and contracting activities within the Logistics category, including supplier selection, contract management, negotiation, and supplier relationship management. A logistics background is a mandatory requirement for this position. It will be key for this individual to manage collaboration across multiple locations with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Global Process Owners, and other important cross-functional teams. It will also be key for this individual to manage and handle escalations in the sourcing and contracting process.

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Lead sourcing and contracting activities for the Logistics category including supplier selection, RFPs, RFQs, competitive evaluations, benchmarking, and negotiations
- Manage end-to-end category management including supplier governance, contract renewals, and ongoing supplier relationship management
- Understand the current supplier base, spend, and goals of the organization to define and maintain a procurement strategy for the Logistics category in alignment with key stakeholders




- Support supplier negotiations, contract renewals, and supplier governance frameworks
- Maintain alignment with category strategies and program governance standards
- Work with suppliers to define the most appropriate and cost-effective pricing structures to support the organization
- Leverage existing supply base and identify new opportunities to drive efficiencies and deliver cost savings
- Conduct risk assessments where needed to protect the interests and assets of the organization
- Provide category intelligence and stakeholder reporting including weekly/monthly spend and cost savings reports
- Schedule and coordinate supplier performance review meetings
- Coordinate and actively participate in technical discussions between suppliers and internal customers
- Work closely with multiple teams to understand business requirements, goals, and objectives in order to efficiently support their operations
- Analyze processes, identify, prioritize, and drive continuous improvements
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal customers and external suppliers
- Interact with Internal/External Stakeholders across multiple global locations and time zones
- Minimum Requirements:

- B.S./B.A. in Business, Supply Chain,



Logistics, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in logistics category management or strategic sourcing — logistics background is mandatory
- Robust negotiation and contract management capabilities
- Understanding of supplier selection, supplier analysis, and supplier relationship management within the logistics space
- Procurement process knowledge including financial analysis, market analysis, and category strategy development
- Effective communicator capable of managing stakeholders across time zones and organizational levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of urgency and ability to maintain high performance under tight timelines
- Demonstrates ability to ask the right questions and use sound business judgement
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-moving setting
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
- Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in logistics or indirect procurement category management
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar regulated environment
- Experience servicing English-speaking regions such as North America
- Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional sourcing initiatives
- Experience with contract management tasks and tools such as Ariba, iCertis, or similar platforms
- Relevant qualified certifications (e.g., CPM, CPIM, CPSM)
