The Role

Anaplan is looking for a Sr Engineer to join our Experience Engineering workstream. You will be a founding member of a recent team dedicated to building our world class User Experience. You will work alongside other talented engineers to build and ship award-winning planning technology, that is helping people and companies around the world every day to make better-informed plans and decisions.

We are looking for an exceptional and passionate Senior Engineer who believes in simplicity, agility, and performance. In this role, you will architect systems, build tools, and establish best practices that enable Anaplan to deliver a seamless, intuitive experience to all our customers.

- Good attention to detail - you will create applications which solve significant problems for our users, this drives you more so than anything.

Your Skills

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to craft well-architected, scalable, and easy-to-maintain systems.

- A robust toolkit of design pattern, and the ability to choose the right one to apply to each problem, making use of SOLID principles.

- A track record of delivering complex solutions using JavaScript (ES2015+), HTML, and CSS.

- Expertise with TypeScript and React.

- Experience writing back-end services using a JVM language (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot), or similar.

- A good understanding of deployment tools and technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

- Needs the capability to collaborate with and lead others, communicating ideas clearly, influence their thinking, or making difficult decisions in delicate situations, all while maintaining the integrity of the relationship.
