Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations at our solar panel module manufacturing facility in Kishangarh. The role combines hands-on HRMS administration, accurate payroll management, and strict statutory compliance under labour laws and the Factories Act applicable in Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth HR workflows, timely payroll, strong employee relations, and full legal compliance for a manufacturing environment.
Core Responsibilities
- HRMS & HR Operations: Configure and maintain the HRMS (employee master, attendance, leave, shifts, time-office). Ensure data integrity, periodic audits, and generate HR dashboards and MIS for operations and leadership.
- Payroll Management: End-to-end monthly payroll processing including payroll structure setup (CTC, basic, allowances, statutory deductions), attendance validation, overtime/arrears, salary disbursement, salary slips, Form 16 support, final settlements, and payroll queries coordination with Finance.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with central and Rajasthan state labour laws relevant to manufacturing: Factories Act, Minimum Wages notifications, Payment of Wages Act, EPF, ESI, Payment of Bonus, Gratuity, Maternity Benefit Act, Contract Labour (R&A;) Act, Shops & Establishments (if applicable), and local labour rules. Maintain registers, file returns, and coordinate inspections.
- Employee Relations & Discipline: Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and foster positive relations across shopfloor and office staff. Implement fair, documented processes for attendance, discipline and escalation.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
Support hiring for production and office roles, manage onboarding, inductions, confirmations, transfers, and exits with accurate documentation and HRMS updates.
- Health, Safety & Factory Coordination: Work with EHS and production teams to ensure compliance with the Factories Act (working hours, leave, welfare facilities, canteen, cleanliness). Support POSH awareness and safety trainings for shopfloor supervisors and staff.
- Reporting & Analytics: Deliver monthly HR & payroll MIS (headcount, attrition, overtime cost, absenteeism, statutory filings status) and provide insights to plant leadership to support operational decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent preferred.
- 45 years of progressive HR experience, with minimum 3 years in manufacturing or shopfloor environment; experience in solar/renewables preferred.
- Proven hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS and payroll modules.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian labour laws and Rajasthan-specific rules, plus direct experience handling Factories Act compliance.
Skills & Competencies
- Practical payroll expertise: wage components, statutory calculations (EPF, ESI), arrears, LOP, overtime, and final settlements.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and ability to build HR dashboards.
- Excellent documentation skills and robust attention to detail for statutory registers and filings.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English; ability to interact with shopfloor staff and regulatory officials.
- High integrity, confidentiality, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under deadline pressure.
