About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager Part Approval Lab to join our R&D; team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for part approval, evaluation, reliability testing, and validation of electrical, electronics, and mechanical components used in power products. The role involves driving continuous improvement in evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and contributing to value engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the approval and evaluation of new parts and components used in Inverters, Stabilizers, Solar Products, and other Power Electronics products.
- Perform detailed testing and evaluation of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components as per defined timelines and validation requirements.
- Verify product documentation, drawings, specifications, and datasheets for accuracy and compliance.
- Recommend opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization.
- Develop, improve, and standardize validation formats and testing procedures.
- Conduct reliability testing and simulate field conditions to assess component performance.
- Perform failure analysis, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety, reliability, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D;, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing.





Required Skills & Expertise

Strong knowledge of:

- Electronic, Electrical, and Mechanical Components
- Power Electronics Products (Inverters, Stabilizers, UPS, Solar Products, etc.)
- Part qualification, validation, and reliability testing
- FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Test equipment, laboratory instruments, and engineering tools
- Product safety and reliability standards

Technical Competencies:

- Component testing and evaluation methodologies
- Test setup design and simulation of real-world operating conditions
- Reading and analyzing datasheets, drawings, and technical specifications
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Validation and verification processes

Software & Documentation:

- Advanced MS Excel
- PowerPoint and Documentation Tools
- Planning and Project Tracking Tools

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 15–18 years of relevant experience in reputed Electronics, Power Electronics, Electrical, or Solar Product companies.
- Proven experience in component approval, testing, quality validation, and product reliability assessment.
