Ace Brain Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is hiring experienced Design Engineers with expertise in CATIA V5 and Complete Automotive Seating. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in complete seat design and development, working on seating systems from concept to production while ensuring compliance with global automotive standards.

Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop complete automotive seating systems using CATIA V5.
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Develop components including Seat Frame, Foam, Plastic Trims, Headrest, Armrest, Recliner, Slider, Cushion, Backrest, and Seat Mechanisms.
- Prepare engineering documentation including GD&T;, BOM, and drawing releases.
- Ensure designs comply with OEM standards.
- Support design validation, engineering changes, cost reduction (VA/VE), and quality improvement activities.




- Incorporate manufacturability considerations related to stamping, welding, foam, plastic, and trimming processes.
- Participate in design reviews and resolve technical issues during product development.

Preferred candidate profile

- Solid hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
- Complete Automotive Seating design experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Part Design, Assembly Design, Surface Design, Drafting, and DMU.
- Good understanding of seating mechanisms and BIW interfaces.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, Tolerance Stack-up, DFM/DFA, and Engineering Change Management.
- Familiarity with automotive product development processes.
- Experience with PLM tools (Teamcenter/ENOVIA/Windchill) is an added advantage.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
