Job Summary

The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children. The teacher plans and delivers age-appropriate lessons that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development while fostering a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct interactive and creative classroom activities based on the curriculum.
- Teach foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, language, and general awareness.
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Observe, assess, and document each child's progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Prepare teaching aids, learning materials, and classroom displays.
- Encourage positive behavior and good manners through effective classroom management.
- Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to ensure the holistic development of students.




- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and career development activities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori, ECCEd, or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a preschool or kindergarten is an advantage.
