We are looking for a Technical QA Engineer/ Lead to drive quality engineering across identity and security platforms, with a solid focus on automation, API validation, and secure authentication flows. This role requires hands-on expertise in Playwright, modern test framework design, and validation of IAM-centric platforms in complex enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end test strategy and quality governance for identity and security validation initiatives, covering UI, API, integration, and non-functional testing.
- Design and build scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Python, with a focus on maintainability and reuse across services and channels
- Drive validation of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, SSO, and federation flows across IAM platforms, with ForgeRock experience preferred.
- Define and execute API testing for microservices-based architecture, including contract, integration, and regression coverage.
- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and support quality gates across release workflows.
- Use service virtualization tools such as Mountebank to simulate dependent systems and enable stable,



repeatable testing in non-production environments.
- Provide technical leadership to QA engineers, review automation code, and establish engineering standards, metrics, and best practices.

Required skills and experience

- Proven experience as a Technical QA Lead, Senior QA Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineering Lead in enterprise delivery environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and API automation; Cypress exposure is useful but Playwright is preferred.
- Strong coding capability in TypeScript and Python for automation framework development and test utilities.
- Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch and scaling them across multiple applications or services
- Strong API testing experience in microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of identity and access management testing, including OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, SSO, and federation validation.
- Experience with IAM platforms, preferably ForgeRock.
- Experience integrating automation into GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines
- Banking, financial services, or regulated-domain experience is highly preferred, along with exposure to Identity and Access Management programs
