- The responsibility of the credentialing specialist to ensure that all the credentials provided by the candidates are valid.
- The credentialing specialist must be able to keep track of certificates and licenses for their expiration. Some certificates and licenses are required to be renewed from time to time.
- The credentialing specialist must be able to maintain compliance with the insurance provider and all the medical regulatory and accrediting institutions.
- The credentialing specialist is required to maintain the record and update the database for credentials, certifications, licenses, and insurance contracts.
- Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
- Screen practitioners applications and supporting documentation to ascertain their eligibility.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Credentialing.
- Excellent spoken & written English.
- Works well within a team and independently
