Job Summary

Technosys Integrated Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced DC-DR Expert for the Bilaspur ITMS Smart City Project. The candidate will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of the Data Center (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) infrastructure supporting the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS). The role requires ensuring high availability, business continuity, data protection, cybersecurity compliance, and seamless coordination with OEMs, vendors, and client stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Data Center Operations

- Manage and maintain Data Center infrastructure supporting ITMS applications.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of critical servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor overall health of Data Center equipment and services.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Maintain uptime in accordance with SLA requirements.

Disaster Recovery Management

- Plan, implement, and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) infrastructure.
- Conduct regular DR drills and failover/failback testing.
- Maintain Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) compliance.
- Ensure synchronization between Primary Data Center and DR Site.
- Maintain updated Disaster Recovery documentation and procedures.

Server & Virtualization Administration

- Administer Windows and Linux servers.




- Manage VMware/Hyper-V virtualization environments.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and related services.
- Perform server performance tuning and capacity planning.

Storage & Backup Management

- Manage SAN/NAS storage infrastructure.
- Configure RAID, storage allocation, and LUN management.
- Monitor backup jobs and ensure successful restoration testing.
- Maintain backup policies and retention schedules.
- Ensure secure archival of project data.

Network & Security Coordination

- Coordinate with Network Team for Data Center connectivity.
- Monitor firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network security devices.
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices are implemented.
- Support vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Manage SSL certificates and secure remote access.

Database & Application Support

- Coordinate with Software and Database teams during upgrades and maintenance.
- Support application deployment within DC and DR environments.
- Ensure database replication and synchronization between sites.
- Monitor application performance from infrastructure perspective.

Monitoring & Incident Management

- Monitor infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Identify infrastructure bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.
- Resolve infrastructure issues within SLA timelines.
- Coordinate with OEMs for major technical issues.





Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain infrastructure inventory and asset records.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Health Reports.
- Maintain SOPs, configuration documents, and DR manuals.
- Ensure compliance with Smart City guidelines and organizational policies.
- Support internal and client audits.

Coordination & Client Support

- Coordinate with Smart City SPV, client representatives, OEMs, and implementation partners.
- Participate in technical review meetings.
- Support new project deployments and infrastructure expansion.
- Provide technical guidance to project engineers.
