Role & responsibilities

Operational Leadership

- Oversee end-to-end Physician Revenue Cycle Management operations including:
- Demographics & Charge Entry
- Medical Coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
- Payment Posting
- Accounts Receivable Management
- Denial Management
- Patient Collections
- Provider Credentialing & Enrollment

- Drive operational KPIs including Productivity, Quality, Turnaround Time (TAT), SLA adherence, and Client Satisfaction.
- Lead large-scale operational teams across multiple clients, specialties, and shifts.
- Implement best practices, process standardization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure workforce planning, capacity management, and resource optimization.

Client Relationship Management

- Act as the executive point of contact for Physician Groups, Hospitals, MSOs, and Billing Companies.
- Conduct Executive Business Reviews, QBRs, and governance meetings.
- Build long-term client partnerships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Manage critical escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, service expansion, and client retention.

Financial & Business Management

- Own and manage the P&L; for the Physician RCM business unit.
- Drive revenue maximization through improved collections and cash flow performance.
- Reduce AR Days, improve Net Collection Rates, and optimize financial outcomes.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and cost controls.
- Improve margins through productivity enhancements, automation, and operational efficiencies.




- Deliver year-over-year revenue growth and profitability improvements.

Strategic Planning & Transformation

- Lead business transformation and digital innovation initiatives.
- Drive adoption of Automation, RPA, AI/ML, Workflow Optimization, and Analytics solutions.
- Identify and develop recent service offerings and operational capabilities.
- Partner with Sales, Transitions, and Business Development teams to support new client acquisition.
- Develop scalable operating models to support business growth.

Compliance & Quality Management

- Ensure compliance with:
- HIPAA Regulations
- CMS Requirements
- OIG Guidelines
- Client-Specific Compliance Standards

- Drive audit readiness and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Maintain quality standards through robust Quality Assurance programs.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives.
- Ensure data privacy, security, and policy adherence across operations.

Leadership & Talent Development

- Lead large-scale operations comprising 500-2000+ FTEs.
- Develop and mentor Directors, Senior Managers, Managers, and future leaders.
- Build succession plans and leadership development programs.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives.




- Foster a high-performance and accountability-driven work environment.

Preferred candidate profile

Mandatory Requirements

15-25 years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.

Minimum 8+ years in senior leadership roles such as Director, Senior Director, AVP, or VP.

Proven experience managing large Physician Billing operations in a multi-client environment.

Experience leading organizations with 500+ FTEs.
